Dr. Phil Gildersleeve graduated from Southern California College of Optometry (SCCO) in Fullerton, CA with a Doctor of Optometry degree in 1980. While attending SCCO, Dr. Gildersleeve was selected for the Gold Key Honorary Optometric Society.

For the Nebraska Optometric Association, Dr. Gildersleeve has served as chairman for the Education, Organization and Peer Review Committees, and the NOA-PAC Board.

O'Neill Family Eyecare PC Dr. Gildersleeve is a Charter Member and Past President of the O’Neill Rotary Club. He is also an active member of Christ Lutheran Church. His interest in the development of the local youth has led him to coach over 30 baseball, basketball & soccer teams in the area.

Dr. Phil Gildersleeve and his wife Connie are parents to Steve, Christa, Heath Lichty, Jenna & Sean.
